Enhanced Loyalty Balance Tracking

We are excited to announce an improvement to Greenline’s loyalty program!

Any manual updates made by employees to customers’ loyalty balances will now be accurately reflected in the loyalty history. This includes both individual and bulk updates, providing a more transparent and detailed view of all changes.

  • This update is not retroactive. Only future updates will be affected by this change.
We believe this enhancement will improve the accuracy and reliability of our loyalty program, allowing for better customer service and record-keeping.

Update: AGCO/OCS Ontario Transactional Reporting

You may have received a letter from AGCO explaining that they “cannot confirm that you are using a compliant POS system configured and integrated with the new automated POS Data Reporting Platform administered by the Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS)”.

We would like to confirm that Greenline POS is indeed an approved and compliant cannabis point-of-sale system and that we are working with the OCS to fully integrate with their automated platform.

You can confirm that your Greenline dashboard is set up to send data to the OCS by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to your Greenline dashboard
  2. Click on Compliance on the left side panel
  3. Go to Settings
  4. On this screen you should see a Hash Key, along with your CRSA license number, and the store Location name.

Should you find any of these details to be missing, please contact our Customer Support team or your Customer Success representative. They will be able to follow up with the OCS to acquire the Hash Key that is necessary to set up the connection to the transactional reporting platform.

The alerts from the OCS that you have received may be due to product level discrepancies relating to details that are required for successful submission of sales data to the automated platform. Should you receive further communication from the OCS indicating issues with data submission, it may be due to products within your dashboard missing any or all of the following details, keep in mind that this may be true of active, inactive or deleted products:

  • Valid SKUs are either missing or incorrect or incomplete
  • Duplicate SKUs or UPCs
  • Valid UPCs are either missing or incorrect or incomplete
  • Incorrect compliance categories associated with cannabis products
  • Non-cannabis products (accessories) associated with cannabis compliance categories

Our team is working on building the tools necessary to enable retailers to investigate, mitigate and correct these issues in order to maintain compliance.

Ensuring Data Accuracy:

  • If you have any missing product information (such as SKU/barcode) for your cannabis products, it is crucial to fill in this information to ensure the accuracy of your data submissions.
  • When creating cannabis products, always utilize our OCS Product Importing tool to ensure all necessary information is included.
    • Should any SKUs be missing from the Import Tool, please send our support team an updated OCS catalogue, and they will promptly import the latest data into the system.

Enhancements to Online Order Receipts and Order Hub

We are excited to announce updates and improvements to the online order receipt process and Order Hub features for our retailers. Here’s what you need to know:

Parked sales became Order Hub

  • The parked sale modal and dashboard page are being renamed to Order hub. Functionality will not change.

Dashboard Integration:

  • A new button is added to the dashboard for each online order. Retailers can click this button to view and print the online order receipt. Packing slip button hasn’t changed.

Tablet POS Settings:

  • Under the "Receipt Printing" section in the tablet POS settings, a new option is introduced for default printing preferences:
    • Packing Slip Only
    • Online Order Receipt Only
    • Both

Order Hub Enhancement:

  • Long-pressing the print button for online orders in the Order Hub allows retailers to override the default printing setting for that specific order. This override is temporary and applies only to the current order.

Visual Feedback:

  • When long-pressing the print button in the Order Hub, a progress bar appears to indicate that the request is being processed in the background, enhancing user experience and ensuring smooth deliverability.

WebPOS Buttons:

  • In WebPOS, two separate buttons are introduced for printing:
    • Packing Slip
    • Online Order Receipt
  • Retailers who wish to print both documents need to click both buttons sequentially.

Online order receipt:

  • Packing slip hasn’t been changed
  • Online order receipt will have additional information such as:
    • Discounts applied to the products,
    • Subtotal
      • Taxes
    • UNPAID tag for unpaid orders
    • PAID tag for paid orders

Insights reporting update

As we continue to improve our reporting structure and resolve some issues we have noticed in the beta testing of our product, we have temporarily turned off this feature. We appreciate your patience as we continue to build out stronger functionality within our reporting platform.

New Insights reports

We are pleased to introduce our new reporting tool, Insights, to bring improved reporting performance. This initial release has been enabled for all customers.

We are adding additional upgrades to our reporting system, and will keep you updated.
