Escalation contacts

You can now associate escalation contact email addresses with your organization. These are the email addresses to which emails will be sent by Perception Point in case of an emergency, such as account takeovers and Business Email Compromise issues. The escalation contacts enable prompt resolution of urgent incidents. Providing an active 24/7 escalation contact address enables quick response to critical situations - minimizing disruptions, and ensuring the security and reliability of your account and emails. Specifying escalation contacts is now mandatory for all new organizations. It is recommended that you specify a group email address for your escalation contacts.

New navigation menu for X-Ray

We’ve added a new side menu to help you more easily navigate all the features in X-Ray. The new navigation menu provides a clearer view of X-Ray's structure, making it easier to navigate between the different sections of the application.
We understand that changes in navigation can sometimes be frustrating at first, but we believe that with time, our new navigation menu will help you work more efficiently and effectively.

Showing progress while scanning downloaded files

[Advanced Browser Security] New! When an end user downloads a file, the browser extension displays a toast notification. We've added a progress bar to the toast notification. The progress bar shows the specific task that is being performed, and an estimate of the download completion percentage.

Adding links to block pages

[Advanced Browser Security] Block pages that prevent access to downloaded files and to websites can include custom messages. You can now add a link that will appear below the custom messages. For example, you could add a link to a page that enables users to open a support ticket to request access to the blocked file.

This new functionality is included in the "Custom Messages" tab inside extension profiles. You specify the text of the link, and the URL that will open when the link is clicked.

New toast message design

We've updated the look of the toast messages that are displayed by the Advanced Browser Security [ABS] Browser Extension. We removed the Perception Point logo, and added icons to improve visual recognition of the message content. In addition, the toast messages are now color coded to make the meaning and significance of each toast immediately apparent to the end-users.

Cynet integration

Perception Point now offers a joint solution together with Cynet. This solution improves your security posture and reduces the workload on your SOC team, simplifying and shortening containment time.

The process automates containment & remediation to identify and quarantine attacks across the endpoint and your different cloud channels.

Here’s how it works: Cynet informs Perception Point’s X-Ray about a malicious file that was discovered on an endpoint. X-Ray automatically scans all organizational content-exchange channels to determine the extent of the breach across users. Within minutes, your SOC team receives a full channel audit, while X-Ray actively remediates and contains the incident to prevent further spread.

To learn more or to implement this feature as a beta user, see the Perception Point Documentation Center.
