Recap: In our last Survey Builder Update in May, we introduced the Survey Editor panel. And this month, we're launching the All-New Survey builder to make your Survey building and designing experience 10x times more fun and easy. 

We've introduced a new way to manage everything in your survey builder, exposed all the options and brought them together for easy access, introduced Survey Themes to help design your surveys better and faster, and lots more.

A sleek, new Navigation Panel

Switch between Survey Editor, Survey Design & Themes, Variables, Language and Survey Settings from a sleek navigation panel on the top. 

Survey Editor 

This is the old Survey Builder, but better looking. Add, re-order, structure, and view all your survey questions under this section while previewing your Survey in the center of the screen, like always. 

Survey Design 

Pick the right colors, backgrounds, and fonts that go for your Survey with Survey Themes. Choose from preset Survey Themes or create your own. 

The Look & Feel editor section is also moved here with the themes so you can design your survey all in one place. 

Survey Logic

While you could always add Survey Logic to your Surveys at Zonka Feedback to make them more intelligent and intuitive. Now you can add, edit and view all the logics together in the Survey Logic section. 

Survey Variables

Manage and create Variables while working on your Survey. Personalize your surveys and make your reporting more advanced by passing data along with your Survey using Variables.

In Zonka Feedback Surveys, you can add 3 types of Variables and pass them in your Survey. 

• Survey Variables
  Variables related to Survey Questions. 
• Contact Variables
  Variables related to Contact Attributes like Name, Email, Phone Number, Membership ID, Gender, Department, Address or any other Contact Attributes you create. 
• Hidden Variables
  Any other hidden information that you'd like to pass in your survey without adding it as a Contact Attribute or a Survey Field. 

With the new Variables section in your Survey Builder, you can view, add, manage and copy variables — all in one place. 

Survey Settings

All of the Survey Settings are clubbed together in one place now as 'Settings.' So here's all that you can edit and set, 

• General Settings
  Edit Survey Name, Title and Description. 
  
  
• Offline Surveys
  Settings related to Offline Surveys — Survey Mode (Kiosk, Face to Face or Mobile Surveys), Survey Restart Time, Survey Timeout Time, Survey Exit options. 
  
  
• Online Surveys
  Settings related to Online Surveys — Survey Alignment, Survey Redirection URL. 
  
  
• Survey Language 
  Settings related to Survey Language — Languages in the Survey, Language Change Option (Screen or Button).

With the all-new builder, you can now do everything — create, add, customize, design, brand, integrate, and personalize your surveys — easily and more effectively 🥳

Adding Web Embed Surveys to your Web pages? Now choose if you want to display or not display the Welcome Screen on your Web Embed Surveys in your Display Options along with the layout, height and width of your Survey. 

View the Survey Completion Rate and the Average Time to complete the survey along with Customer Experience Metrics and statistics in the improved Survey Listing screen. 

The Survey Listing screen is where you can view all your surveys, the locations assigned to them, options to Distribute the Survey and Lifetime Stats. These statistics include: 

• Total Survey Responses
• Completion Rate
• Average Time
• CX Metrics - NPS, CES and CSAT 

Now get a quick overview of your survey statistics quickly and know how your surveys are doing. 💥 

Creating amazing surveys is one of the core focuses at Zonka Feedback. Now we've created a new (improved) experience for you to create and manage your surveys at Zonka Feedback. With the all-new Survey Builder we're making it easier to create and edit surveys for you. We're adding more intuitiveness to your survey building experience, moving options around for you to access them more easily and basically be able to create and edit surveys faster and better. 🥳

It's all work in progress and we have a lot more planned, but here's all that's shiny and new. 

A new and improved Survey Builder Design

• Survey Questions and Screens
  Ability to view and edit all survey screens and questions together in an always-visible Questions panel.
  
  View all the questions and screens you've added in your survey, including your Welcome and Thank you Screen, on the new left panel. Click on any question to view it in the Survey Preview in the centre and edit it. Also, if you've added multiple questions per screen, view the questions screen-wise.
  
  
• Edit Survey Look & Feel
  Add logo, background, font and colors to Survey Screens, Welcome Screen and Thank you screen together in the Look & Feel Editor.
  
  
• Turn Welcome Screen & Thank You Screen

  Use a simple toggle to display or not display Welcome Screen and Thank You Screen in your survey.
  
  

• Choose Icon Type for Rating Questions, CSAT Questions
  While adding Rating Questions, easily choose Icon Type, Style and Scale
  
  
• Add Bulk Choices
  Add Bulk Choices in Dropdowns, Buttons, Rating Questions, Checkboxes, Radio buttons and more!

Now you can switch between different types of icons in CSAT and Rating Questions. — star, emoticon, heart, and circle. This feature helps you to personalize the survey experience for your customers. 

Tired of adding all your options one by one? Want to quickly add a long list of items as options in your feedback form and survey? You can now use the Add Bulk Choices option in Dropdown, Button, Radio Button, and Checkboxes fields which makes it easy to add a bunch of choices to your form, all at the same time and saves time instead of creating each choice individually.

If you need to add a large number of answer choices to a single question, you can copy and paste a list all at once instead of adding each choice one by one.

💡Just Copy & Paste with one option in each row and save time by adding your options in bulk. 

Get a quick view of your 10 Latest Survey Responses in the Snapshot Report itself - together with Comments and CX Metrics for a more comprehensive overview. 

Survey Variables and Contact Variables are used to pass data and information in your Surveys and Forms when sending Surveys through Emails, SMSes, on Websites Surveys, and through APIs. They are also very helpful in enriching your survey reports. 

You can now view all your Survey Variables and Contact Variables together in your Zonka Feedback Account when you're Customizing and Distributing your Surveys under the Variables section. 

Viewing all the Variables together will make it very easy and quick for you to use Variables in your Email, SMS and Web Surveys. 🏷️

The Rating Icons displayed in Response Inbox and Reports have been improved for better visibility. 

It's really tedious to add filters again and again while looking at your responses and reports. So we've made it super easy for you. Now when you switch from your Survey Response Inbox to the Reports and Analytics, the Survey Filters will be retained and don't have be applied again! Same when you navigate from Analytics to Response Inbox. 

This should be super handy in navigating between Reports and Response Inbox quickly and more effectively. 

Note: All other filters, like Date, Location, Survey Filters, Contact Attributes are already retained when you navigate between Reports and Response Inbox.
