Import your Mapped tables now!

This one has been a long time coming. You no longer need to raise a support ticket to get your mapped tables updated, you can do this yourself via an import!

For more information on how to set up this option on your footers, please read more on the ELMO Help Centre.

Exciting update for Midpoint Imports

Importing midpoints will be vastly improved with this latest release.  You now no longer need to worry about the order of columns in your import file!
As long as your midpoint identifier (the field that links to the employee) is in the first column, the order of the remaining columns doesn't matter

Manager View of Market data

The Market data table that is visible to managers in the Rem drill down will now show up to 5 data points instead of the current 3.

For example,  In addition to the standard Minimum, Midpoint and Maximum, you could show the 75th percentile

Security Improvement for locked out users

When a user gets locked out due to multiple attempts to login with an incorrect password, they will no longer get a warning message on the login screen telling them they are locked out.

This is a required security improvement to prevent malicious attempts to access the system.

Instead, the user will now receive an email to advise them of the lock out.

Overwrite Imports from your own login!

We are pleased to announce the major improvement to the setting up of Remuneration for a new cycle.  These improvements will start to make it easier to set up for a new remuneration cycle and to use Remuneration more often throughout the year.

There are a number of benefits to this update:

  • You will no longer need to log in as sysadmin to overwrite your data, instead be able to do this from your own login.
  • Your annual set up to get to the point of issuing passwords will be reduced from 13 steps to 4
  • Your admin roles will be retained
  • Your admin access and passwords will be retained

The new steps will be as follows:

  • Login as yourself
  • Go to the Import Data step and select overwrite import and complete the process
  • Go to Assign Roles  - those that were previously admins will still be there

The new import process will:

  • add any new employees that were not already in the system,
  • remove any employees from the system that are not in the new import file and
  • update existing employees data based on the import file
  • Reset the workflow back to the starting position for user

We understand that for many of you this is the busy remuneration time and so we are not automatically turning this new feature on.  If you are ready to turn it on, get in touch with your account manager.

Matrix and Midpoint set up

When you Overwrite your Rem data ready for the next Review, your Matrix Set up and Midpoint data will now be retained.  This means you no longer have to re-enter this information but rather can just review and tweak if needed.

Midpoint information can still be imported, if required, that functionality remains.

This leads us towards retaining all Rem info in the system to support year-round reviews eventually including out-of cycle increases as well as building history for the employe and retention of letters.  Want to talk to us about these plans?  Let your account manager know - Were happy to chat!

We are moving... Remuneration URLs will change

We are retiring old Remuneration environments. This will mean that the URLs you use to access Remuneration sites will need to change.

The New URLs are now live and you should have received a ticket with your new URL by now
  • If you access Remuneration via the ELMO menu - this will be automatic - you are good to go!
  • If you log in manually, you will need to advise all your users to switch to the new URL by 30 September. You can do this via the Rem system - send email to all in role
  • If you log in via Single Sign on, you will need to get your IT team to switch out the URL in your Active Directory between 22 August and 30 September and advise your users of the new URL.
Old URLs will be retired on 30 September 2021
