Now that roles are retained in Remuneration, managers may be able to access the system after an overwrite before Admins are ready.  

This feature will automatically suspend all steps on an Overwrite to mitigate this risk.  You will then be able to untick the steps in process maintenance when you are ready for access to be granted.

When a user gets locked out due to multiple attempts to login with an incorrect password, they will no longer get a warning message on the login screen telling them they are locked out. 

This is a required security improvement to prevent malicious attempts to access the system.

Instead, the user will now receive an email to advise them of the lock out.

We are pleased to announce the major improvement to the setting up of Remuneration for a new cycle.  These improvements will start to make it easier to set up for a new remuneration cycle and to use Remuneration more often throughout the year.

There are a number of benefits to this update:

• You will no longer need to log in as sysadmin to overwrite your data, instead be able to do this from your own login.
• Your annual set up to get to the point of issuing passwords will be reduced from 13 steps to 4
• Your admin roles will be retained
• Your admin access and passwords will be retained

The new steps will be as follows:

• Login as yourself
• Go to the Import Data step and select overwrite import and complete the process
• Go to Assign Roles  - those that were previously admins will still be there

The new import process will:

• add any new employees that were not already in the system, 
• remove any employees from the system that are not in the new import file and 
• update existing employees data based on the import file
• Reset the workflow back to the starting position for user

We understand that for many of you this is the busy remuneration time and so we are not automatically turning this new feature on.  If you are ready to turn it on, get in touch with your account manager.

When you Overwrite your Rem data ready for the next Review, your Matrix Set up and Midpoint data will now be retained.  This means you no longer have to re-enter this information but rather can just review and tweak if needed.

This leads us towards retaining all Rem info in the system to support year-round reviews eventually including out-of cycle increases as well as building history for the employe and retention of letters.  Want to talk to us about these plans?  Let your account manager know - Were happy to chat!

We have heard your feedback that the history on Data and Team check steps shows more than what was changed in the current step.

What has changed:

1. Team check history will only show changes requested via Team check step.

2. Data check history will only show changes requested via Data check step.

3. Changes made via Recommend Rem,  Allocate Bonus or Data Amend (admin step) will not show in Team or Data check steps.

As part of our ongoing program of work to provide you with a modern look and feel in Remuneration, we have made some updates to the Top banner.

What has changed?

1. In the left hand menu is a new section, with your username, user settings and log out options.
2. Help is now located beside the step name.
3. The Zendesk Support widget is now located on the right of the screen
4. We have reduced the space the banner takes to give you more real estate in the main body of the screen.
5. Visibility of who you are impersonating is a banner across the top of the screen to be more obvious.
6. Enable Support access has move to the security configuration step.

We are very excited to announce that you can now add 'Remuneration' to the ELMO Left Navigation Menu for all your ELMO site users. 

But we didn't stop there! The ELMO Left Navigation Menu is now accessible within Remuneration, giving you seamless access to your ELMO site and modules from within Remuneration.

Your Remuneration module must have ELMO Synchronised Login enabled in order to access this new feature.

As part of our ongoing program of work to provide you with a modern look and feel in Remuneration, we have made some updates to the Step Navigation Menu.

What has changed?

1. The menu can now be expanded or collapsed with the little arrow on the bottom right hand side of your menu.
2. Your company logo now displays within the menu structure rather than in the top banner.
3. The workflow icons next to your steps now display to the left.
4. The banner colour is now the background colour for your logo.

1. Moving your Remuneration settings into the new menu structure
2. Tidy up of the top banner to provide a cleaner and simpler design

We have recently created a brand new standard report to give you better visibility of the role and access status of your employees.

This 'Role Summary by User' report shows you:

1. The Remuneration Role for each employee
2. The 'Login Enabled' / 'SSO Enabled' status of each employee

If you would like access to this report, please contact us via support.

System Administrators can then enable this report through 'Standard Reports Administration' so the report can be accessed via the Standard Reports step.

We are very excited to announce that you can now add 'Remuneration' to the ELMO Left Navigation Menu all your ELMO site users. 

How it works:

1. Once enabled, your users who log into your ELMO site will see 'Remuneration' on the left navigation menu.
2. Those users with access to Remuneration can click on this link to open the Remuneration module and complete any tasks.
3. Remaining employees with no access to Remuneration will land on an information page where they can navigate back to their ELMO site.

How to enable it:

1. Your site must have ELMO Synchronised Login enabled. Please speak to your Project Lead to get this configured.
2. Within your ELMO site, go to your Administration settings and select 'General'>'General Setup'>'Configuration'.
3.  Simply toggle 'Show Remuneration Module for All Users' and hit Save.
