Some of you may have noticed an intermittent problem when opening your Build Reports (Data Export) step over the last week. This wee bug has now been fixed.

We're always working hard to improve our product and offer new features. To keep you up-to-date, we've brought our release announcements directly into the Remuneration product. This gives you access to all the latest product enhancements when you need it most.
To view recent release notes, simply click 'What's New' in the top banner. You'll be notified of any new posts since your last visit with a little red dot.
'What's New' will only be visible to System Administrators, and you can use it to give us feedback or subscribe to email updates related to our latest enhancements.
You now have the option to mask all Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that is copied to your test site.
This gives you the flexibility of having anonymous data in your test environment when you are using this for training or support purposes.
While completing a Copy Live to Test, simply tick the 'Mask data copied to Test' tickbox.
When you choose to use this option, the following PII data will be masked in all locations in your test site:
See How to copy Live to Test in our support centre for more information.
This exciting new feature allows any lookup field to have dependant data, creating parent/child relationships between fields that can be managed through the Table Maintenance step. See Parent and Child Lookups (Table Maintenance) for more information.
There are a number of possibilities of how you might use this great enhancement in letters or business rules, so please speak to your Project Lead about how this might work for you.
You will now only need to import the parent against an employee. Once the parent is associated with an employee, then all child fields will also be linked to the employee.
Bulk Imports allows you to update the values of the child fields quickly and effectively. See How to import a table with child values for more information.
Table Maintenance - values can be manually updated directly via the Table Maintenance step. See How to manually update a table with child values for more information.
We’re really excited with this brand-new feature for you!!
Now you’ll be able to upload a collection of images in bulk – like signatures or logos for a letter, which can be linked directly to an individual or a parent field.
See Uploading Images for more information about how to add images via the Bulk Upload, Table Maintenance or Data Amend steps.
This means you no-longer need to create a separate paragraph and rule for each instance of an image in your letter.
See Use of stored images in letters for more details about how to use image attributes in letters.
If you’re interested in finding out more about how this exciting new feature can work for you, please speak to your Project Lead.
To help you easily impersonate other users, we have now added impersonate buttons directly into the Data Amend and Assign Roles steps.
Data Amend
You can now impersonate either the person you've searched for (if they're a Manager) or their Manager.
When setting delegation/impersonate rights for a user you can now impersonate the Delegate/Impersonator
An exciting new feature that is now in your hands is the password security settings.
This new screen will allow you to set the password security yourself instead of sending having to contact Pivot Support.
There are validation messages that will appear if you choose settings below the minimum requirements.
Please see the Password security options article in the Pivot Support Centre for more information.
You can now set up categories to define groups of reports in the menu – in the example below the reports have been split into Admin and Analysis groups.
Please see the How to add report categories and descriptions article in the Pivot Support Centre for how to set these up.
Calculation variables that used to be edited from the System Data step can now be edited directly in the Calculation step.
There are some client configurations that don’t need the complexity of a matrix, so we can now offer a simpler solution that can be configured instead of a matrix.
You can now have a field on the budget screen to set a recommended % increase per person in each managers team.
i.e. in the screenshot below I have set the budget for Ron Howard as 3% and the recommendation for employees in Ron’s team as 1%
In Ron’s Remuneration step, the budget panel shows the 3% (the $ amount), the initial amount spent shows the 1% which has been preloaded against each employee and the amount remaining shows the difference that Ron can still spend on his employees.
This feature is also available for bonus recommendations.
Please contact your project lead if you want more information or a quote to set this up.
