Performance Rating Distribution Report Enhancements

We have recently updated the Performance Rating Distribution Report for those clients using Appraisal as part of their Remuneration Process.

The report has been standardised to bring together all of the best features from similar bespoke reports. Your existing report will still have the same great data, but you might notice the following improvements:

  • Sorting in ascending or descending order
  • Inclusion of all valid available ratings even when these ratings have not been selected, providing a more complete view of data
  • Select grouping for report data

As usual, this report can be accessed via the Standard Reports step.

Masked Copy Live to Test Now Includes Images

You have the option to mask Personally Identifiable Information (PII) copied to your test site. We have now extended the PII masking to include employee image fields and child image fields because these fields have the potential to hold PII such as signatures or photos.

When you choose to mask data when completing a Copy Live to Test, any image associated with an employee or with a parent field will be replaced with a generic masked image in all locations in your test site.

See How to copy Live to Test in our Support Centre for more information.

Improvements to 'Step Commencement' Notification Options

When creating or editing Step Commencement notifications through the Access & Emails Step, the step options are now filtered to only included the steps relevant to a step commencement rule. In addition, the dropdown will now specify the User Role related to each step.

This change will reduce the options and differentiate the steps to help you select the correct step when creating or editing a step commencement notification.

See How to set up automatic notifications/emails for further information.

Additional PII Masking for Test Sites

You have the option to mask Personally Identifiable Information (PII) copied to your test site. This gives you the flexibility of having anonymous data in your test environment when you are using this for training or support purposes.

We have now extended the PII masking to include Position Title and Business Case text.

When you choose to mask data when completing a Copy Live to Test, the following data will be masked in all locations in your test site:

  • Username
  • First Name
  • Preferred Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Date of Birth
  • Address lines 1-4
  • Start Date
  • Title (Mr, Mrs, Miss etc)
  • Position Title
  • Business Case text

In addition, personally identifiable information has been removed from import error messages.

Please note: Masking of Position Title will only apply to those clients using the standard Position Title field. Please contact your Project Lead if you would like to discuss migration from a custom field.

See How to copy Live to Test in our Support Centre for more information.

Drag & Drop Message Fixed for Import Files

When selecting files to upload in the Data Import step, files can be dragged & dropped into the data file field.

The 'Drop files here to upload' message only appeared intermittently during this process. We have now fixed this so you can see this message all the time.

Tidyup of Import History Table

Next time you view your Import History, you'll notice some minor improvements to how the table is presented.

We have removed some extra columns that were no longer needed and changed the 'error' icon to make it unique.

This should give you a bit more space in the table to view the really important bits.
