Sequences 2.0 launched 🎉
Hey there,
We have some awesome news! Our Sequences 2.0 has now been officially launched!
Ever wanted to customize and stack Sequence steps, add timed delays between steps or seamlessly transfer contacts to different Sequences? Now you can!
Stackable steps
In the past your Sequence was required to kick-off with an Automatic Email step. With our latest release, you can how custom stack your steps in any order. So instead of starting with an email, you can start your Sequence with a manual task or outbound call (CRM connectors).
Set timed delays between steps
While our original version of Sequences supported timed delays between email steps with the Sequence schedule, there's wasn't a great deal of flexibility to set timed delays between steps. With our new 'Set delay' Sequence step, you can pause contacts at any point in the Sequence for any set time period, reducing touchpoint frequency.
Sub-steps
For outreach scenarios that require multiple touchpoint actions on the same day, you can now take advantage of sub-steps. A sub-step immediately follows a standard Sequence step, with a timed delay. Sub-steps allow you to link together multiple actions on the same day, that would historically have been configured as individual steps governed by the Sequence schedule. Sub-steps follow timed delays that are configured for each sub-step and the delays are based on the execution of the parent Step.
