Alberta requires cannabis beverage products to charge un-taxed bottle deposit fees. We've released an update to support this fee on the POS.
Key points:
- Please update your iOS app
- Check with the AGLC to determine what each product's deposit fees should be
- Deposit fees are added per-product
When editing a product, clicking "Add deposit fee" will bring up an input field where you can enter your bottle deposit fees.
On the POS, the un-taxed deposit fee will be applied automatically and show up on your receipts.
In a future update, the deposit fees will be shown on your financial reports.
