We've now introduced an 'Ask a Question' step as an entry option. This will allow you to ask a question to entrants, or otherwise obtain information such as a cryptocurrency wallet address and so on.

Good news, we have now introduced Hubspot integration to our business plan!

To activate, head to the "Integrations" page via the main menu, link your Hubspot account and then create a new or edit an existing giveaway. You'll see options for integrations within the entry step options in Create/Edit.

Starting today, you can now link a Constant Contact account to your GiveLab account, and automatically add users entering your giveaway to your Constant Contact subscriber list. Anyone who completes the "Subscribe to Newsletter" step will be added to your MailChimp list automatically.

To activate, head to the "Integrations" page via the main menu, link your Constant Contact account and then create a new or edit an existing giveaway. You'll see options for integrations within the entry step options in Create/Edit.

Alongside adding MailChimp integration, we have now also introduced ActiveCampaign integration. This will allow you to automatically add newsletter subscribers through your giveaway to ActiveCampaign, and make use of their custom flows.

Head to the Integrations page within the main Manage menu, and enter your API URL and API Key which can be obtained from the ActiveCampaign website. Once enabled, you will then see list options within the giveaway Create or Edit flow within the Subscribe to Newsletter entry step configuration options.

We've made some minor changes to picking winners which we think will improve the overall experience and assist with the winner contacting process.

Before: We did not provide the email address of winner(s) but instead directed you to our GiveLab Messenger service exclusively. We realize this wasn't ideal and limited choice with how you reach out to arrange prize delivery etc.

What we changed:

Free users: We now provide the email address of the winner(s) alongside the option to contact on GiveLab Messenger.

Premium users: We now provide the email address of the winner(s) alongside the option to contact on GiveLab Messenger. You will also be able to export a CSV of your winners if you have a high amount.

Business users: We now provide the email address of the winner(s) alongside the option to contact on GiveLab Messenger. You will also be able to export a CSV of your winners if you have a high amount.

Additionally, we also updated the instructional text on the picking winners page to make it clearer how everything works/what they do.

In an effort to provide you with more data about the users who enter your giveaways, we have introduced a new 'Users' page which you'll find in the menu to the left within manage.givelab.com.

Within the Users section, you'll find a list of all users who have entered any giveaways under your account in the past. It's ordered by the most active users based on actions performed in descending order.

We'll be adding a search function in the coming days alongside the above.

We've received multiple requests to introduce a viral share/refer a friend entry step method, and we're happy to announce it's now available for Premium and Business users.

The Refer a Friend step will allow users entering your giveaway to earn additional entries by sharing the giveaway with their friends through a unique URL. You can define how many referrals a user can earn during the create giveaway flow.

We've been working to improve the performance of our platform in recent days, and earlier today we deployed these changes. You should notice a nice improvement in page load times when visiting your giveaway, alongside managing it through the Manage portal.

If you run regular giveaways and typically have the same entry step options, we've gone ahead and made your life easier. You'll now see the option to "Clone" a giveaway in the Manage portal, which will create a new draft containing the very same setup as the original giveaway.
