MultiCurrency for our Xero Integration

As your company grows, additional currency support between your account and billing systems becomes top of mind. To support your evolving business we have enhanced our Xero integration to take advantage of the Multi-Currency functionality released earlier in the year. This update will now allow you to setup and link different currencies within Xero and Chargify.

Note: It is important to ensure your 'Chargify Currency' and 'Xero Based Currency' are the same. If this is not the case, a warning will appear containing a link that will allow you to make the appropriate changes.

For more information on you Xero integration, see our documentation >

Even More Currencies Supported with Our Stripe Integration

Ensuring you can collect payment wherever and however you want is a key goal of our payments team. With that, 4 new supported currencies have been added to our Stripe gateway. They are:

  1. AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham)
  2. ILS(Israeli New Shekel)
  3. SAR (Saudi Riyal)
  4. ARS (Argentine Peso)

This expansion in currency support is driven by our customers who are seeing their business expand into these areas!

Easier Commissions Reporting with Sales Rep Information Added to the Subscription CSV Export

It is now easier to sort and filter your subscription exports for commission reporting! The Sales Rep Name and Sales Rep ID fields are now included in the Subscriptions CSV export, allowing you to better slice and dice your Subscriptions data for commissions reporting. This update is a continuation of the Sales Rep information on Subscriptions enhancement announced earlier this month.

For more information on the data included in the Subscriptions CSV export, see our documentation

Chargify + Quickbooks Integration - Class Controls

It is now possible to configure QuickBooks classes for your Chargify to Quickbooks integration, providing flexibility in if and which classes are used. To support this new configuration 4 options are available during your initial configuration. They are:

  • No Class Name - will not populate a class
  • Site name as Class Name - will use your subdomain name as the class
  • QBO class name as Class Name - This option will allow you to select from existing class names in Quickbooks Online.
  • Custom Class Name - Allows for a custom class to be created

Better Subscription Maintenance via Chargify’s SFDC v3 Integration

We are excited to announce the beta version of our updated SFDC to Chargify integration (Version 3). This initial update is part of an overall SFDC integration enhancement project, which is occurring over the next few months. In this release, we've decoupled the Salesforce Opportunity record from the Chargify Subscription record for more flexibility in managing each and to better support the way you do business. You can create new subscriptions and update existing subscriptions with new opportunities in SFDC. This release is also easy to configure while providing an array of data synchronization configuration options between Salesforce Account, Contact, and Opportunity Records and Chargify Customer, Product Catalog, Subscription, and Transaction records.

Our goal is to provide you with a seamless billing experience by ensuring your teams have the right information, at the right time, in the right systems. As we continue to invest in our out of the box Salesforce integration, we would like to hear from you! If you have feedback or use cases that you would like to see supported, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

Enhanced Commissions Reporting with Sales Rep Listed Directly on Your Subscriptions

Tracking sales representative commissions is important as your business and sales team grow. To help support your commission needs, we have added the Sales Rep to the Subscription record within the Summary tab. This information then flows through to the Sales Commission Report for easier commissions management.

We have also added the Sales Rep to our API endpoints, so this information can be managed directly through your CRM (or any other system) and passed into Chargify as needed. To ensure continued security, a new authentication method has been introduced to all you to access this seller level data. Access to the Sales Commission API is available to users with financial access and Advanced Analytics.

Note: The Sales Rep listed at the time of running the report will be referenced for all revenue associated to that specific Subscription.

Your product feedback is always welcome as we continue to invest in our commissions functionality. If you have specific commissions requests or feedback, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or Chargify Support.

Invoice List Improvements within the UI

Getting a solid understanding of your different invoices is now easier with the newly released pagination and URL parameters enhancement for the Invoice list page within the Chargify UI. With this, users can now sort their invoices based on the existing filters and receive back a paginated list for easier consumption and review. Users can then share the exact URL with a colleague so they are both looking at the same list. An example of this would be filtering based on invoices in a 'Collection' status and sharing that with a colleague for review and action.

For more information on our Invoice Lists, please see the documentation

Easier Bad Debt Management with New Collections Status

Managing past due Invoices is now easier with the Chargify collections status. This new invoice status allows you to better manage invoices who have passed through the dunning process without a successful payment being collected but are not ready to close the invoice. This invoice status is used when still attempting to collect payment after dunning concludes.

Note: Collection status for invoices is available regardless of your subscription status.

To turn this on for your site, please contact your Customer Success Manager or the Chargify Support team.
