  • An ‘In Collections’ subcategory of Expected Payments for subscriptions that have failed Dunning but have open invoices
  • Access to the old layout at the bottom of the page for easy comparison between versions

API Endpoints Supporting Subscription Groups

As Chargify continues to evolve the way you can manage subscription groups,  new API endpoints have been added that give you the option to easily navigate and view:

  • Groups
  • Members of the groups
  • Balances of group accounts

Cancellation and reactivation of the entire group can happen through a single API call. In addition, groups can now have their own service credits and prepayments, apart from individual member subscriptions.

For more information on our API endpoints supporting subscription groups, see our documentation here >

Invoice Amount in Subscription Export

The most recent amount invoiced has now been added to the Subscription report to provide even more detail on the current state of the Subscription at the time of export. This field represents the total amount billed, in cents, of the most recent recurring invoice (does not include mid-period probation invoices). It does not include invoices in a pending status or invoices which have been voided.

For more information on our Subscription Export, see our documentation here >

Product Details in the MRR Movements Export

The MRR Movements Export is a great way to get a detailed view of all MRR changes for a period of time. These movements include new sales (new_business), upgrades (expansion), customers coming out of hold status' (reactivation), customers shrinking (contraction), and customers leaving all together (churn). The Product ID (product_id) and Name (product_name) have now been added to this export to provide more detail around where the MRR movement is occurring.

New A/R Aging Report

Tracking your A/R aging can be difficult without the right tools. To cut down the time you spend tracking and increase your ability to understand and take action, Chargify has introduced a new A/R Aging Report as an extension of the A/R Dashboard. This report, formatted as a .csv export, provides a complete list of customers, subscriptions, and invoices in an aging view so you can easily understand your days sales outstanding and repeat offenders. To round out your A/R view, this report also include all outstanding service credits and prepayments providing you with all obligations data in a single location.

If you are already using the A/R Dashboard, this report is already available to you. If not, gain access to the A/R Dashboard by contacting your Customer Success Manager or Chargify Support.

Updates to Renewal Email Timings

Making sure your customers know when their trials are ending and paid subscriptions are going renew is now easier with some updates we have made to our renewal email notifications. With these updates, it is now possible to configure the timing and email content for you trial subscription notification. It is also now possible to configure the timing of subscription renewal emails based on the product your customer is subscribed to. This updated timing functionality is especially useful for companies who must follow state mandated renewal standards.
