Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) Direct Debit is now available on Chargify’s integration with Stripe!
Direct Debit is a commonly used payment method in Europe and many businesses are seeing great success when implementing this payment method for subscriptions and business invoices. Adding an additional payment method adds flexibility to your customers.
Once you are ready, SEPA will allow you to take payment for your subscriptions in three easy steps:
- Customer selects SEPA Direct Debit at checkout
- Customer provides full name, IBAN, and authorizes mandate
- Customer gets notification that the payment is complete
Contact your Customer Success Manager or Chargify Support to enable this new payment method. You must have an active account to accept SEPA direct debit with Stripe.
